I Love This but because of our girl love story it is overcoming hate and rage with love is very touching
I am really enjoying this series! Someone compared it to the Black Dagger Brotherhood and I agree. It's not as in depth, but it does pull you in and make you care about the characters.
I loved this book. It kept me reading from beginning to the end. I loved the relationship between Marrock and Olivia and the rest of the characters. Yes, the sex was great too!!! I am a big fan of Shayla Black. This book does not disappoint. This is the first book in The Doomsday Brethern series. Read the series if you want a fast paced sexy adventure. Enjoy!!!!
Loved this first book in series. Can't wait to start the next. It's sexy and hot with the magical/wizard element, which I usually don't go for, but it was awesome!!
Olivia is a witch and doesn't know it. She moves to London to try and find her father. Marrok is a warrior cursed by Morganna. Morganna is Olivia's grandmother.

Marrok needs Olivia to break his curse. Olivia needs to find her father. Marrok kidnaps Olivia. There is an evil wizard trying to get Olivia and Morganna's book. They agree to help each other. They get bonded to each other and fall in love.
Book is set in England, a twist on magical history. Merlin and Morganna's battle of old carrying into modern times. An evil wizard threatens the magical and humankind population forcing a old brethren to reform. Nothing is stronger than a magical mating bond, this is what occurs with an immortal warrior (Marrok) and a descendant of old magic (Olivia). Olivia has to deal with discovering magic and bonding all at once, which she fights. It would be a lot to undertake all at once, I would resist too. New beginnings, old enemies...fun magic... I was entertained, I want to see where the story goes.
This is the first in the series Doomsday Brethren and has a great story line. This book is about witches and wizards and a warrior that was cursed by Morganna le Fey. He has her Doomsday book and just needs to figure out how to open it without destroying the world. Then he meets a descendant of Morganna and thinks he has finally got what he needs to the curse. Oh and he must protect the book from the evil wizard Mathias d'Arc . It was a page turner from the very first. Couldn't put it down. If you like Shayla Black you will love this series.
