A misleading title is not necessarily a bad thing, especially in this instance.
This was a very interesting story, painting vampires in a light I never thought possible. Vampires with wings? Really? That actually makes them a bit more likable.
Then the succubus aspect was an interesting twist from what I know about them, so I also found them intriguing.
I may go on ahead and check out more books, because I really enjoy original twists on old characters.
Great work Jill, I am impressed.

While I enjoyed the series I don't see that this added any significant value. If a reader is following the series then we already know that Zane is more than likely going to pay for his choices. Glad it was free. If not I don't think I would have been too happy considering it's not all that insightful as to the story of Zane.
On the edge of my seat!
If you're just looking for a paranormal short story featuring the inevitable tortured paranormal longing for the girl of his dreams that he somehow can't have, this should do the trick.

I kept waiting for something a bit creative, but it never came. I do appreciate the author/publisher being honest in the item description that this is not a stand-alone story.
This short story was very short and it tosses you right in the middle. I had no clue what the "rules of the realm" so to speak were; why he is an angel that has his own personal succubus is beyond me. There wasn't any sort of indicator or context clues to take from it. The sadist who seems to own him is also a mystery to me. The basic plot seemed good but it was hard to get into because it was short (yes it is a short story so I can't be mad lol) but mostly because you have no clue whatsoever what's going on unless you've read something that is a precursor to this I suppose. Though the name of that book is noticeably absent so I couldn't figure out what to make of the short story. It's well written and if you happen to know of the books before this story takes place you might enjoy it better.
This was a short but very intriguing story. I've never read My Fair Succubi, but now I think I want to. However, this story contains a spoiler, in that I believe it takes place after the events in that book. However, this short taste does give a quick but intense feeling for the world of the fallen angels/vampires and the succubi. But I want to know more, especially the love triangle between Zane, Jackie and Noah. It seems to be a very romantic paranormal suspense storyline.
When I first bought this book I realized it wasn't what I thought. As I read the book I became more intrigue with the story and the characters. Being a True-Blood lover I figured why not delve into these pages and see how it goes. Well as I read I was blown away with the story and was looking for more at the end. This book is well worth the rating I gave it. I most certainly will recommend that you go grab a copy for yourself and see what the fuss is about with this book.
